Art. 28 of Executive Order No, 209

Since puwede po no appearance ng other party sa civil marriage under the Family Code of the Philippines (dahil sa malayo ang other party), therefore, hindi na rin siya required mag-sign sa certificate of marriage, 'di ba? Kasi kaya nga po hindi maka-appear personally, because of transportation problem; likewise sa pagkuha ng marriage license.

Another question din po, kung hindi makakuha marriage license itong malayo, hindi na rin po kukuha ng marriage license 'yong present?
