text harrassments

hello, i have very stressing problem, i have a guy friend who has a girlfriend and shes very jealous of me. she even started spreading below the belt rumors about me and his boyfriend. she texted me foul and insult things like malandi daw ako, pokpok daw ako and all degrading words about my dignity.
she also texted my father about my "kalandian and how sexually filthy i am", and that resulted to my father's hypertension.
please, how can i stop her legally?she ruined my dignity and all my family's name.all the things she said is not true, i still have all her foul text messages in case i have to present it in a legal matter.

please...i really need your advice.i want her to be punished or just legally stop...please help..thanks

This may be a case of libel, albeit done electronically through text. You should consult a lawyer if you want to file a case against her.

Right now, give her a message telling her to stop spreading false information about you, otherwise you will be constrained to file a case against her in court. Word it in such a way that it cannot be construed as insulting, so that such a message cannot be used against you. Hopefully, she would stop and recant the messages she sent at this point in time.

i've already told her to stop but she used another number and texted me so many insulting things, would it be alright to blotter her in the barangay?...i dont really like trouble but she is too much...
