Oral defamation, slander, libel (if it is in written form) comes to mind offhand.

Of course, please try to fix the issue first before instituting a legal action against the wife, since it is wholly possible that your situation with her is a complete misunderstanding. Remember, it is usually expensive to go into litigation against anyone.
