i would like to ask if it is legal to force me to take a leave of absence from work since i got pregnant out of wedlock. my bf left me when he found out i was pregnant. i am a librarian in a public school and when my boss learned about my situation, i was advised to file a leave without pay...i was also told that i won't be entitled to a maternity leave since i violated the code of ethics for teachers. pls advise
