all i know that they are not really married because my mother had no problem marrying his present husband,attyLLL wrote:sorry, go back. I mean did your parents marry each other. if they did, then you should be considered legitimated and you can use your father's surname. all you will need to do is provide the LCR with a copy of their marriage certificate.
if they are not married, i would also recommend that you adopt the name on your birth certificate
