Hello I need advice sana matulongan nyo ako, ganito yon may ex po ako taga holland, 2014 nong kami pa 7 lang kami naghiwalay then, 2016 binigyan nya ako nang 5k kasi nong time na yon nenakawan aq sa boarding house ko, sabi na tulong nya daw yon, ngayon sabi nya kukunin na daw ang pera na binigay nya sa akin ang kailangan may tubo pa daw, pwd ba yon bayaran kahit binigay nya at wala namin kaming usapan na bayaran ko ang wala din akong papers na pinirmahan na utang ko yon, Please give me advice.. Thank you.

assuming it was a loan, then no interest is payable unless there is a written agreement on interest.

if it was given willingly as a donation, you should be able to prove that.
