NBI Hit (Falsification of Public Documents)

Hello, I need your help... I applied for NBI Clearance last week but unfortunately I got a hit. My NBI record says that I have a case of falsification of public documents last 2003 but as far as I remember the case didn't prosper or never tackled when I attend hearing for my other case which is estafa but I knew that this case was also filed against me with the same person...My estafa case is already dismissed 5 years ago so what should I do in order for me to get my NBI Clearance? I'm afraid that when I go to court to get a record of that case they will see that this case was never tried....Is it possible that this case will be revived or not? I am now processing my petition papers that's why I am now fixing all the requirements when applying for a passport..

I'm also wondering that my estafa case has no records in NBI which I'm expecting so I am totally shocked that the case filed against me is still there..

Please give me some advise for this one... thanks..

send an authorized representative to the court where the case is pending to check on the status. if it has been dismissed, get a certified copy of the order and bring it back to the nbi.

I already went to the court and checked if there's a similar case file against me... but they don't have any records, instead they saw another case but it was already dismissed so I get a certificate for that to present at NBI... SO what will I tell the NBI if they insist that they need certificate for the falsification case?

what is this other case? it is also against you? you should get a certification from the clerk of court that the other case does not exist.

atty the other case was estafa which was already dismissed... this estafa case has no record in nbi..instead falsification of public documents was there... the only certificate that I get from the court was for the dismissal of my estafa case...

so atty, my understanding to you is that I should get a certificate from the court that the falsification of public documents case does not exists and present it to NBI?

the only way to find out is to get your clearance
