it depends on what the other side is willing accept and you willing to offer. you can offer 10,000 but if they demand 100,000, then the case goes on.

kasi po bukod sa kaso sa trial court, nagpasa rin po sila sa prc, para po sa pagtatanggal ng license.

pano po pala kung nag usap po kame sa church para maayos ung issue, tapos nakipag handshake at hug naman sya. pero after nun nagpabarangay at nagfile pa ng kaso tapos nde po nila sinabe sa barangay na nag usap na kame sa simbahan, nde po rin nila un nilagay nung nagsampa ng kaso sa trial court at sa prc? ano po ang weight nun? thanks po

a handshake and a hug is not necessarily an agreement to drop the case, especially if there were no clear terms or worse, you did not fulfill your obligations.

what you should do is defend against the complaint. simple slander is a relatively minor offense. it should not be basis for revocation of a prc license.even if you were convicted, the penalty will probably be a P200 fine. if there is imprisonment, then you can apply for probation.
