backpay dispute

good day po. last thursday, pumunta po ako sa previous company ko to get my backpay. when i check, they deducted, almost 9k from my last pay.. 7k as notice pay dahil hindi ko daw natapos ung pagrerender ko which is not true. (nagsubmit ako ng resignation ng march 1, and ang dineclare ko na last day ay april 5. which i followed. kaya po more than 30 days po ung nirender ko) then ung remaining amount po ay sick leave recovery daw. when i asked ano po un, sabi nung taga HR, un daw po ung mga binayarang sick leave ko. so tinanong ko po sya, bakit po binabawi, kasi daw po, nung time daw po na nag SL ako, wala daw po akong SL credit. sa previous company ko po, may issue about sa. SL, sinabi po nila na dapat daw po ine earn ang SL. like instead na you are entitled for 10 SL sa start ng taon, you need to earn it. like 1. 5 SL credit daw every month.. yun daw po ang reason kaya binawi nila ung binayaran nilang SL s akin kasi daw po from january to april of 2016, hindi daw po sapat ang sl credits ko sa mga Absences ko na dineclare ko as SL. tama po ba sila? ang alam ko po, VL lng ang ine earn, ang SL po ay automatic na available. i need your advice ln what to do.. hindi ko po tinanggap ung checque kasi po sayang ung amount na kinuha nila sa perang pinagpaguran ko po. thanks po in advance.

Unless specifically allowed, your leaves (VL+SL) should be earned, not automatically given.

Lugi naman ang kumpanya kung bigyan ka ng 15 VL (or SL) agad at gamitin mo bigla, at pagkatapos ay mag-resign ka.

nung employed p po ako sa kanila, we actually cleared this issue sa HR and they verified na ang SL ay hindi ini earn, we were given 10 sl per year at pwede namin un gamitin. ang VL lng daw ang ine earn which is 1. 5 credit every month. i was with the company for 2years and 2 months. and i rarely use my SLs. kaya nagtaka ako bakit sila nag sl recovery where in fact i have 10 automatic sl credits and i have not used all of them prior my resignation and my 30 day rendering period.
