Are BPOs and PEZA-accredited institutions exempted from donor's taxes?

Hi there!

I'm and NGO working with BPOs (call centers) who would like to donate their computers to local government institutions such as public libraries. These companies would want to do this as a CSR initiative, considering that they also need to dispense of their computers yearly, for new units.

However, these call center companies are worried about being slapped with large donor's taxes. If they plan to donate computers to public libraries, health centers and other local government offices, can they be exempted from donor's taxes? What other remedies can they use to go around this?

I would also be glad to meet up with lawyers or other experts that would help me get information or answers to this dilemma.

Thank you for your replies!
