Hello po ask ko lang oo kung pano pong steps gagawin kc illegimate child po ako at parehas oo kmi ng middle initial ng mom ko. Napagalaman ko oo na pay illegitimate dpat slang middle initial piano ko po kaya in ipapatanggal?di po kc ko makakuha ng passport. Isa pa pong concern as NSO b.c ko po male po ung gender ko eh female po ako pero sa record n kopya ko galing sa munisipyo female po nakalagay.

To change or delete the middle name requires a petition in court.  Ibig sabihin kailangan dalhin sa korte at may abogado supported with documents.  Ang makapagpayo sa iyo ay ang Office of  Civil Registry na nasa munisipyo o syudad kung saan ka registered.

To correct gender is easier as it only requires an administrative procedure sa Office of Civil Registry kung mapapakita na clerical error lang ito. Sapat na magpakita ng mga documento, ebidensya sa opisinang ito para ipetition na aayusin ang gender.  Kapag OK na, ang OCR na rin ang magdadala ng correction sa NSO.  Medyo may katagalan din ito. Pero mas madali kaysa sa pagdelete ng middle name.

Puedeng pagsabayan.  Bisita ka sa OCR para sa mga documentong kailangan at mga filing fees. Unang maaayos ang gender tapos ang middle name. Kasi critical sa record ang pagpapalit ng ngalan.

Pag nacorrect na, kailangan mapadala sa NSO para sa centralized update ay makuha ang corrected birth certificate in security paper. May katagalan din ito dahil batches magsubmit ang OCR sa NSO.

galing po ako ng OCR kanina..tlga po bang aabutin ng 10k lhat ng gastos sa pagpalit ng gender??sabi po kc kahit n female ako sa b.c ko na nasakin at galing sa munisipyo yung ngaprepare dw po ang may mali..iniisip ko nman po apat n kopya po ung b.c at nilalagyan ng carbon how come na it end up like that..may tendency po b na minano mano ung pag gawa nun at ung naipasa dw po sa nso is ung mali..looking forward for your response..

di naman siguro, tanungin mo details ng 10K, ano ano or saan ang pupuntahan ng bawat expense...
baka naman kasama na riyan ang pagupdate ng Middle name mo?

sabi po wla nman dw pong problema sa middle name ko..kasi batas dw po un nung 1994 na kung ano middle initial ng ina at apelyido un dn ang sa anak..dahil hndi kasal ang magulang..maraming pinakita skin na ganun dn..dahil tayo dw ping mga pinoy hindi sanay na walang middle initial sa ibang bansa kang dw po un pinapatupad hanggang sa ginaya nlang dn po ng mga pinoy.. 3k sa pag file ng case taz 3,500 sa pag published ng dlwang beses tapos 500 sa processing fee 150 sa posting fee then the rest baptismal certificate,voters registration record,affidavit of not employment,sss,medical record from private physician,school record,NBI,police clearance,medical certification from government physician,certificate of authenticity of the medical..ayan dw po lahat ng kailangan

Glad that you took the advice of visiting the OCR and posting a feedback including a breakdown.
It appears that your case is not just an administrative case because you mentioned a filing fee.  (Tama nga yata, it requires filing a petition in court requiring several private and public documents, records to prove correct gender.)
Mukhang naka package ang facilitation fee nito.  Subukan mo kayang ikaw ang mag initiate ng requirements to save.  For instance ang publication for 3 consecutive weeks in a national daily ay parang P1.8K lang.
Sa listahan mo, di pa kasali ang NSO transmittal at BC in security paper.
Magtanong din sa ibang kawani o boss sa OCR.

Ask ka rin ng view on the middle name. Lumalabas na magkapatid kayo ng nanay, same middle, same surname.

i guess sya n po pinaka mataas dun..bukod p po dun ung bayad sa attorney n 300 tsaka yung pagpapa lbc ng document..what if magpunta ko sa lugar n mlapit smin at dun magtanong?like sa pasig or taytay?hindi po b clerical error yun? sabi po kc nia ang clerical error dw po ay ung sa pangalan lng tulad ng nagkamali ng letra..

kung saang municipality/city ka niregister, doon mo dapat asikasuhin ang BC mo,,
mukhang me hokus dito,,, ang laki naman, at bakit me case pa? eh change of gender lang,,,
para ngang sa side nila galing ang discrepancy eh..

pero dapat mo talagang ayusin to.

Ganito din sa akin,, un NSO sabi,, Nila ganon daw noon middle name ng nanay middle name din ng anak,, parang di nmn nila alam un batas,,lately lang kasi ata un batas na no middle name,, kpg illegitimate at d acknowlegde . Ng tatay, Ano na update ,,nkakuha knb ng passport? Un passport mo ba meron padin middle initial? O tingal nila? same tayo ng sitwasyon kaya san po update kyo para mlaman,, din,,namin ano nangyri,,
