Hi Guys need some help sana. Sino sino ba ang considered na immediate family member ko according sa batas natin? Legally married ako. Umabsent kasi ako for two days since sinugod naming mag-asawa yung biyenan kong lalake sa hospital. Till now naka-admit pa sya pero pumasok na ako. Dalawa lang kasi kaming nagtutulungan ng misis ko. Valid ba sya as immediate family member ko? Baka kasi hindi i-consider as emergency leave yung absence ko eh. Salamat sa makakatulong. Question Question Question

Check the company policy.

Immediate family member can mean:

1. Parents
2. Spouse
3. Children
4. Siblings (Brother, Sister)

Minsan, pag may-asawa na, #2-3 lang ang considered.

Depending on policy, in-laws may or may not be included.

Sa ibang batas na nabasa ko na merong definitions -

(1) Spouse;
(2) Son or daughter;
(3) Either parent;
(4) Brother or sister; or
(5) Guardian over the person

Peace..... no offense po... in simple cases like this,
We should always approach the party concerned first.
in ur case ,,,the HR.
a rule of thumb, we should always build a good and harmonious relationship with them.
kahit sabihin nating kasama, pero sinabi nila na hindi, kasi in-laws na, yun ang internal policy nila, blah blah blah,, then what?
file tayo case.???
the bottomline, parang marriage rin to eh, when we marry, we marry not the good sides alone, we marry everything that goes with it, may it good, bad or worse.
in employment, the time we accept the job offer, we accept not only the good things they offer, we also accept their limitations, for they have their own concerns in doing such things...

btw, regards sa biyenan mo,sana gumaling na sya,
dyan mo ko talo, hehehehehe,
ako biyenan ko... no comment...
