Hi gud morning! Ask lang pu sna aq ng legal advise. Pde pu b i-consider n illegal termination khit nag advise kn n mgpapasa nlang ng resignation letter. Nag leave pu aq ng almost 2mos sa comp namen due to threatened abortion, advise pu un ng ob ko at my med cert dn pu aq. Kaso nung time po n babalik n aq sa work, friday pu un, feb 21, nde n pu aq nkapasok at nde pu aq nkapag advise kya NCNS dw pu aq..pero ngpacheck up pu aq at sbe pu ng doktor n until delivery nrw ang bed rest ko dhil complicated dw pu pagbubuntis ko. ininform ko pu ang tl ko n mgpapasa nlang aq ng resignation dhil wla nmn pu indefinite leave sa company namen. Ang usapan pu nmen ng tl ko friday pu aq dadaan ng ofis pra mkapag clearance. Ang ngyare po sumama pu ang pkiramdam ko at ngtxt aq ng umaga ng friday feb 28, n nde aq mkakapunta kaya by monday, march 3 nlng pu aq punta.wla pu reply skanya kya inassume ko n ok lng skanya. Friday ng gabe feb 28, nreciv ko ung txt nia n kung nde dw aq pupunta terminated nrw aq. Ngtaka aq kc wla nmn xa pasok ng gabe. March3,monday,pagdating ko sa ofis,nde nnia tinanggap resignation letter ko dhil terminated nrw pu aq at naipasa n nia ung termination paper ko sa hr,wala aq nGawa,inisip ko n sayang nmn pagod ko at tiniis ko ung hirap ng byahe tpos ganun lng. Ask ko xa kung kelan aq pede balik pra sa clearnce ko,wla xa exact n sagot. July 30,bumalik aq ng comp pra humingi ng cert dhil need ko sa sss mternity r'ments ko. Nagulat ung hr dhil wla nmn cla nrreciv n termination paper ko from my tl at sana rw kinonsider ang kalagayan ko nung mga panahon n un kc critical ung pregnancy ko. Question:
1. Pde pu b aq mag file ng damages sa dati kong comp
2. My laban pu b kung sakaling ituloy ko ang pag file ng kaso?

Pasenxa n pu kung mahaba ung message ko, I just want to make sure that I mentioned all the details pra matulungan nyo pu aq at mabigyan ng legal advise. Maraming salamat po!

Is your address updated with the company? did you receive any notices asking you to explain your absence and notice that you were terminated?

You obviously have some fault in not properly informing the company about your situation but they should have followed a proper procedure in terminating you, which should at least entitle you to nominal damages.
