what happens if it is void ab initio,..

what if my husband, found out there was a discrepancy of the marriage rendering it void ab initio,only after several years of the marriage because of he was later involved in another relationship because he was away from the family working abroad.Will the wife and the children agree right away to give up their rights...without having the benefit of the court procceedings,....it will just be ordered right away.and not even considering the rights of the child...because of illegitimacy since the marriage is void ab initio,will the wife and the child leave the home ..right away because they have no right to be in that place,specially if the annulment is on -going..and will the affected wife and children just go on living with themselves,to never ever ask for support because of the mistake in making the marriage void ab initio...and suffering all the consequences there after because of the husbands ulterior motive ...in filing the annulment case...
