Am i considered a squatter of my own property?

Background: My husband and I purchased a residential property and loaned via pagibig so were 100% sure that the title is clean kc pagibig would not grant as the loan if it is not right? The property has an existing high fence and well gated at the backyard and it served as a dirty kitchen and laundry area when we purchased it. However 2 months ag0, we had the backyard renovated and we constructed a 2 storey concrete house intended for rental and it is separated by firewall from our 1st house (2 house in 1 lot). Yesterday, 5 houses that was alligned with our newly constructed apartment was demolished by a demolition team hired by the opposing rightful owner of the said property. We totally have no idea about this incidence until our neighbors told us that were next but i confidently told them that we have our title to prove ownership but not until someone showed us a map and it seems that the 3rd party really owns 50% of our backyard based on geodetic engineers sketch.

Question: Can they forcefully demolished our backyard with apartment on it without informing us or negoting with us first? For the 5 houses i mentioned, their property was demolished even if it was heavily raining and flooding and the tenants are refusing to evacuate.. I was told that the brgy or city hall intervene ata kaya our property was strained from being demolished (without us knowing that were supposed "daw" to be 1 of the affected based sa kwento2 sa daan). Is that legal in the first place kc bad weather demolition date nila? Also, Kmi na affected pala doesnt even know n may ganong nagaganap na kaguluhan sa likod nmin?? Are they allowed to do demolition khit wala owner?
- worst scenario n maprove n hindi nga smin yung 50% ng likod nmin, can we contest that it was obvious that there was construction ongoing for more than 2 months during the time n tinatayo yung apartment and d nman nila kmi inapproach saying like "teka lng amin yan"? What grounds pedi kong icomplain? Or that the fence has been existing for ages and no one told us that it was theirs so we could have not assumed property over it d b?
- were ok to do settlement or purchase the said piece of land pero worried that they might overprice kc ako ang nasa hopeless and loosing side. How can i be protected from overpricing?
- if they dont agree to settle or sell the lot to us, ano po pedi kong option kc sa totoo lng sobrang laki nagastos nmin sa pagpapagawa nung apartment para mapunta lng s knila or para sirain lng nila

Wala po kming balak mangagaw ng lupa ng may lupa, biktima lng din po kmi Sad

since you are a builder in good faith, they have no absolute right to demolished your property. however, they have the option to either sell the land to you or acquire the improvements made by you after paying the value of the said improvemnet
