Hi, i need legal advice. I have 2 nso marriage certificates to the same person. We went to manila city hall to get inquire then dinala kami sa fixer. So we ended up dealing with the fixer to provide the marriage license and pati yun marriage contract pina-sign nya. On the witness pinasulat lang kami ng names. No ceremony as in tawaran lang.
After a month, nakuha ko yun license and marriage cert. the date ni changed and abg nilagay is the death anniversary of my spouse's parent, so super bad trip. I went to the civil registry to check if valid yun MC, it's valid and unfortunately forwarded to nso already. We decided to have a court wedding and reception. I took the marriage license to another municipality and we were officially married by an RTC judge with ceremony talaga. Pina expedite ko yun 2nd MC and after 2 weeks i got the NSO cert. when i tried to obtain additional copies of the 2nd MC from nso satellite office, i was given the 1st MC from the fixer eventhough my request indicated the date and place of the 2nd MC.
Is there any way to cancel the 1st MC? Are there any legal implications on having 2 nso records? Thanks.
