What is the meaning of across the board salary increase? I searched the net and the definition results said that its an increase which is either same or equal in amount or percentage for all the employees of a company? Is it lawful that teachers receive the same amount of across the board salary increase while the office staff and support personnel of the same private school differs in amount?

is it really a rule or law that advisers pay of teachers who are advisers of class be taxable?

Tutorials are being done in school after class. Students who request for or recommended for tutorials pay a certain amount. All subjects tutorial is 3000pesos a month while one or two related subject like math and elective math is 2500pesos a month. For each tutee payment, the school deduct 500pesos a month. Tutorials are thrice a week, one hour each day. No aircon just light and fan. The school said its for the energy fee. But one time, a parent asked an admin if they get a portion of the tuition fee and that admin answered no. The parent asked a teacher who is a tutor if they receive in full the tutorial amount. And she said the truth. That its being less by 500. Whats the legal thing to do about this?

Im sorry if this is ignorance but no employee manual is given to us since the time i was hired here and its been 6 years. We requested yearly for that but never given to us. Thank you very much for ur concerns. Hoping to hear from u. God bless.
