Hi!

My neighbor claimed they bought our lot in 1947 from my father but we could not find any deed of sale from any government offices, not even at the National Archive.

If the Registry of Deeds showed that they (our neighbors) are the real owners and there is no deed of sale or TCT, is it possible that the lot was not legally sold?

There was no notation at the back of the land title we found at the Registry of Deeds.

Hindi porke walang deed of sale ay spurious na ang transaction. Kung 1947 pa yan, malamang wala na talagang copy nyan. Remember that a torrens title is indefeasible and incontrovertible. If you seek to nullify it, you need clear and convincing evidence.

Sino ang may possession ng property and for how many years na?
