Good day po. I acquired a vehicle from a certain 2nd hand car lease company last year. A few months back, i was able to talk to a friend who had transacted with that company and he mentioned that the company encountered problems pertaining to its owner and that company is technically out of business.
I have tried to contact all agents of that company as well as their supposed trunk lines. All are no longer in service. I dropped by their office and its just an empty space now.
I also called the insurance company where my vehicle is supposed to be insured with. They noted that there has been no payment remitted for my insurance policy.
But the check we issued to the company is still being encashed. So my wife and decided to stop payment on this months payment. Medyo mabigat ang fee for stop payment so we might need to close the account instead. Hassle lang kasi we have other issued checks against that account.
With that, i would like to ask for your advise on how to proceed with the vehicle in our possession. We are with full intention to pay off the balance. But we are afraid we might ended up paying for something na baka di maging sa amin.
