Good day. I was married (a mayor did the marriage) October 1998 and got separated from my husband April 2004, since then we no longer live together under one roof. My ex-husband was already re-married last 2010 and already has a child with his new wife, the child is already 4 years old. My ex-husband and I also have a child and she's now 15 years old. My question is, 'can I also re-marry?', because I am in a relationship and have two boys with my present partner. How can I re-marry again? Thank you.

I'm no Attorney but if he remarried without Annulment that is classed as Bigamy ?

I am in a similar situation having been separated from my legal wife (Vice Mayor in Municipal) after only 5 months and haven't seen her for over 3 years. She is in another relationship and is having/has had a child with her new partner. Because we are not legally separated or annulled neither of us can legally remarry

If only I could find her to annul her and file a case of adultery and concubinage, but when I go near her family to ask, I am threatened with machetes and handguns ...

Also can be classed as adultery and concubinage against both parties (including you if you do it)

If your still legally married be it Civil or Church and you were not in Court and got Annulment I would personally not consider re marrying until your both annulled

I'm not an Attorney, opinions are personal based on my knowledge
