Arresto Menor

Hi Good day,

My wife's employer is transferring to a new location from Bulacan to Rizal. We are currently residing in Pampanga which is about 30 minutes to her current work.

She's already in her 10th yr working there. however, if the compnay persue to transfer to Rizal, she's decided not to work there anymore for the reason that it is very far, travel time plus cost of transportation is huge and will consume almost half her salary. Not worth working anymore.

If she resigns and will not work anymore after the transfer, will she get her end of service pay? or what reason she can state to get her end of service pay? or is there a certain law or article related to this kind of work relocation wherein it will cause distortion from here current set up?(salary distortion due to huge transpo etc..)

Hope to hear from you guys and thanks in advance.

relocation is company's prerogative. If your wife resign, she will not get anything for her 10 years of service.

Except if the company has any retirement benefit or similar.
