Hi All,

Normal po ba na walang income tax return? I've been with the company for 2 years pero wala pa akong natatanggap na income tax, although nagbibigay cla ng ITR 2316. Sa dati kong company kasi every year ngbibigay ng income tax return. I also ask some of my colleague na more that 5 years na sa company never daw silang nka-tanggap nun. We ask the company's accountant and HR, but they can't give exact answers.

If mismo ang accountant and HR ay hindi makabigay ng malinaw na sagot, merong hindi magandang nangyayari.

edit:

But since sinabi mong nagbibigay sila ng 2316, wala na silang dapat ibang gawin, dahil substituted filing na ang ginagawa.

Are you expecting BIR form 1700 or 1701 ("income tax" return form)?

Based on current labor law, only minimum wage earners are EXEMPTED FROM PAYING TAXES, THEREFORE NO TAX RETURN DOCUMENTS (ITR2316). But if you're above minimum you are obliged to pay taxes, annualization of your tax documents should be given annually. Write a courtesy letter to your HR dept why no tax annualization is being released. Also call your nearest RDO BIR office whom you can inquire the current condition.
