Yung First name ko po sa Birth certificate ay
John-Ashley (Surname) ngayon ko lang po napansin nung kumuha ako ng passport, Pero Since Birth
Gamit ko na po yung John Ashley (surname) walang (-). Error po ba yun? magkakaproblema po ba ko in the Future? iPapa red ribbon ko po kasi diploma ko at transcript. please help po. Balak ko po kasi mag ibang bansa.

atty, new member po ako dito, nde ko din po alam kung may case na natulad ko na nakapag tanong na sa inyo..

nag ampon po kasi kaming mag asawa, ung nanay ng bata, nasa tyan pa lang ang baby, naghahanap na sya ng aampon sa anak nya, ang gusto nya po ay bayadan ang lahat ng gastos sa hospital pag ka panganak nya at bigyan sya ng pera pamasahe pauwi ng probinsya nila, ganon nga po ang nangyari, binayaran namin ang hospital bill nya, binigyan ng pera pamasahe pauwi, at kinuha na namin ang bata, kinuha po namin ang bata na hindi nagawan ng birth certificate ng midwife na nagpaanak sa nanay nung bata. Ngaun po malakipas ang 2 weeks, sa kagustuhan ko pong mabinyagan na ang bata, na requirements po ang birth certificate ay nag pagawa po kami ng birth certificate ng bata sa pangalan naming magasawa ang nakalagay, alam ko po na mali un, falsification po, ano po ang gagawin ko para maitama ang nagawa naming mali sa pag gawa ng birth certificate ng bata? natatakot po ako na maparusahan kaming mag asawa, na gusto lang po namin na magkaroon ng pangalan ang bata. pasensya na po kung mahaba ang story at tanong ko. sana po bigyan nyo ng sagot. Maraming salamat po atty.

technically, it's called simulation of birth, not falsification. but yes, it's a crime.

we were once asked the same question when I was in legal aid at my law school. our supervising lawyer told us to recommend that they just leave it be because they would expose themselves to a criminal complaint.

nevertheless, there was an amnesty granted when the law on adoption came out, but that has already expired. there are pending bills in congress to provide amnesty again to allow couples who simulated birth to properly adopt their children. you should monitor this if you intend to adopt the child.

Our fear now, kung halimbawang bawiin ng nanay ung bata, na huwag naman sana mangyari, may reason ba kami na hindi pumayag na kunin ang bata?

if she does, tread carefully. failure to return a child is kidnapping of minor. the most you can do is ask for payment for what you've spent on her but you cannot legally refuse to give the child back.
