Good PM.

I would like to know if a child born outside marriage (thus an illegitimate child) will be a legitimate child once his parents married each other even if the marriage is a bigamous one. (I have read that a bigamous marriage is valid unless annulled).

Wait po pla. The child is born before the bigamous marriage was celebrated. Will it still be presumed to be legitimate? Or it will undergo a certain process to be legitimate?

by law the child can never be legitimated, but again, unless a court declares the marriage to be bigamous, the child will be presumed to be legitimated.
