Hi to all,

We have bought a fruity jelly snack for kids from a well known store here in the Philippines, in the outer packaging the expiration date is still ok but on the fruity jelly label itself it is already expired. We did not notice this until it is too late. We have 3 kids and all of us ate this product.

I would just like to seek advice on how to proceed with this matter, what are our rights and what can we demand from this store for my kids safety and their health.

Thanks

I don't know the legal part (but consumer's rights seem very low in reality in the Philippines.)

BUT, in difference from meat and diary products,
fruit and vegs are normaly eatable long after expiring date, as long as it isn't rutten or mold. If it don't taste or smell odd, then I wouldn't worry. I have eaten e g several YEARS old berry jam and fruit cream without problem Smile
