I have registered an educational institution with SEC with the provision of 60-40 equity ratio. However, when I am applying for accreditation with TESDA, they are requiring that Board of Directors should be ALL Filipinos. As far as I understand and read (Navarro, Amper&Co - Doing Business in the Philippines 2012) foreigners can also be board members with the same ratio, that is, 60-40 in favor of Filipinos. Are there other restrictions for educational institutions? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks
