Good day.

Position : Supervisor (considered managerial role)

My employment contract states that i should follow 90days Notice period should i wish to resign. Otherwise I have to Settle 2months worth of salary for the damages. I am planning to Take 30days notice only. Here are my concerns:

Can I have An arrangement with the Employer not to settle the damages?

Or can i Ask for proportional reduction of the amount since I will Render 30days?

i respectfully don't disagree.

imo, damages are not warranted because the law prescribes only 30 days. the exception is only if your job is in the mission critical list of the dole.
