Question about Divorce

Hello.. may question lang po ako... May prob kac mom in law ko... and we're quite confused. My mom in law was married to her husband maybe 31 years ago here in the Philippines... but then sa hirap nang buhay, yung husband nya ay pumunta nang US 21 years ago ( 6 months old pa lang yung bunsong anak nila nun) para magtrabaho sana sa kanila (nag tnt po cya dun). her husband never came back here in the philippines... may communication cla daw sometimes, nagpapadala din naman nang pera sometimes... but then her husband married again in the US.. (wife nya dun is not a filipina. she's either mexican or spanish and they're residing in the US). may 2 anak cya sa babae nya duon.. matagal din nalaman nang mom in law ko na nagpakasal pala cya ulit and may kids na cya dun. years have passed, her husband then sent her some divorce papers...

she's confused on what to do.... kawawa talaga mom in law ko.. she's not sure if she needs to sign it.. she's okay with it naman na mag separate na cla.. but then yung bunso nyang anak (which is ofcourse my sis in law) is still in college. nasa isip kac nang mom in law ko na if mag sign cya sa papers, baka mawalan na cla nang financial support...

higpit pa naman sa pera mom in law ko coz she's just a housewife... super akala nya na gagaan buhay nila kaya nga pumunta states husband nya, pero ito lang pala gagawin nang husband  nya..

may mga suggestions po ba kayo? pwede ba nya makasuhan yung husband nya doon? and if kung pwede, ano kaya yung dapat na ifile sa kanya? incase na mag.sign yung mom in law ko sa papers, ano ba makukuha nang husband nya?
