Thank you for sa reply, question lang po what is the difference between qualified theft and estafa by abuse of confidence para magkaron po ako ng idea and masuggest ko po ito sa family ng husband ko.up to wla pa po kami lawyer and dahil po kc sa conflict sa schedule ng work ko kaya pinauubabaya ko po sa family ng husband ko ang paglapit sa PAO.nagtry na po sila lumapit sa boss ng husband ko but up to now medyo sarado pa po sila sa paglapit ng areglo.they will wait na lang daw po na magstart ang hearing na nakaschedule if i'm not mistaken before end of february.attyLLL wrote:i assume he has a public attorney. what i would recommend is to try to question the decision to make the charge qualified theft. i would try to argue that it was estafa by abuse of confidence. that would at least lessen the possible penalty.
