My father died leaving several loans extended to various people when he was still living. As heirs, my siblings and I would like to collect these receivables but most of his debtors assert that they no longer have a legal obligation to pay because my father is already dead. Please let me know of a legal basis to enforce this collection para hindi po mabale wala lahat ng pinaghirapan ng tatay namin. And what document should we come up with to pass on the responsibility of collecting these debts to only one among us heirs? Thank you very much and God bless.
