I just found out that I have been paying my Sun PostPaid bill that has Text Copy on it. stupid me for finding out just now.

I inquired about this feature from Sun Customer Hotline. Basically, all incoming text messages that my phone receives is copied thru either someone else's email or cellphone number.

So everytime I receive a text, someone gets a copy and I pay P1.- for each text that I get.

My question is, is this even legal? Reading Article III of 1987 Philippine Constitution, Under Section 2 and 3, can this be considered as invasion of privacy?

And why does a telecom giant have this type of feature? is it even legal?

If so, how can I go about on filing for a legal complaint about this?

TIA

Good day.
Salamat.
