Good day, sir. I applied for a Smart Postpaid plan that came with a handset. The contract was supposed to be for 30 months (I think). However, after a couple of months, I lost my job and decided to just go back to school (long story). So anyway, I don't have a source of income now but I've been receiving mail at our house address, telling me that they are forwarding it to a "Collection Agency/Lawyer". My questions are: a)Will they file a criminal case against me? b)Can we come up with a negotiation on a much lower amount since I wasn't using the service after a couple of months? c)What other options do I have? Thanks.
