Hi everyone,
May 13 was recently declared as a SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY by Pres. Aquino. Following the Department of Labor’s guidance on paying out for special non-work days, this day will be a “no work, no pay” day. Those reporting to work on May 13, however, will get a 30% premium based on the same guidance.
Your managers will reach out to you soon to help determine what your plans are for Monday, May 13 so that proper team scheduling / coverage can be worked out.

Hello, team!
This coming Election Day, 13-MAY 2013, has been declared a Special Non-working Holiday.
Allow me to contextualize what this means for our attendance:
1. It’s a ‘no work, no pay’ day
2. If we wish to be out on and get paid, then we should have filed for vacation leave like our team members below:
3. If we opt to report for work, then we will be paid according to Section 2 of Memorandum Circular No. 01
To further support the few of us who are registered voters and want to practice our right to suffrage, we’d like to inform you that we will allow you to adjust your schedule so you can still fulfill the 9-hour office time entitling you to #3 above. Just please inform your respective Team Lead before THU 6:00 AM so we know when to expect you here.
If there should be any question around this, please send me an email copying your immediate Team Lead so we can answer you together.

Can DOLE act on this?
