Hi atty,
I have a scholarship contract with CHED with their Faculty Development Program, I was endorsed by my former employer on that said scholarship but did not give any financial support. All in the expense of CHED. I have no existing contract with my employer when i decided to resign because they are transferring me to another branch of their company, but in my CHED contract it stated their that i have to render return of service after my completion of my course. Do my employer have the right to sue me for breach of contract? Do i have a right on this situation? If they asked me for payment of damages is it legal? thanks

do you mean, you are required to work as a teacher but you are currently not one? and so you will resign to become a teacher?
