Good day po!


Nakapirma po ako ng six months contract at wala pa po akong 1 week sa work ko pero ayoko na po at gusto ko nang magresign dahil di ko kaya at ayoko ng work ko ano pa ang dapat kong gawin? first job ko po ito at may pending application pa ako sa ibang company. Help po plsss Sad

As far as I know, you can file a resignation. Signing a 6 months Contract doesn't mean you cant resign. You just need to do it in a proper way/ do a proper turnover. You can give them 30 days notice if possible but if you think you cant stay there any longer, give them a week or so,only if the management approved it, however, if not u have to tender your resignation for 30 days notice for them to be able to find a replacement for your position etc.

They cannot force you to render service against your will,to do so,would amount to involuntary servitude,a violation of your right. However,since you have signed a 6 year-contract,pre-terminating it might give rise to some consequences like a refund of advance benefits and the like.

Kung 1 week ka pa lang, at di mo pa nacomplete ang pagbibigay ng requirements sa company at pagsusubmit ng govt forms,e better just email them then AWOL. It wont hurt your record unless your 6 months of contract has details of payment or bond to the company. This may opt company to complain you for a civil case or labor case.

Mas safe and legal, tender your resignation letter then yur intention to render 30 days notice. If mas mapapabilis ang approval ng boss mo ng last day mo, e relief na yung pangamba mo.

Bottomline- before joing a company, ask all your questions during job offer signing. Itanung mo na lahat, as in lahat!
