Good day. I resigned from a publication company March 23, 2013. I worked there as an sales account executive. As indicated in my contract, Im entitled to commissions as part of my compensation. Now that I have resigned from the company, am I entitled still to receive my commissions as part of my backpay?

Follow up questions sir. How do I go about in asking for my commission? Last thurs. I followed up my back pay. The accounting staff told me that I owe the company 64K for tax on the barter commissions I got last year. Do commissions in the form of barter( gift certicates) taxable under law? And i dont understand that why only now that I have already resigned from the company that they're taxing the commissions I got. What do I do? About this. Thanks for the reply.
