good day sir,

i have submitted a resignation letter last march 1, 2013 effective date is on on may 1, so thats 2 months advance notice, i have indicated my reason for leaving is that i have a better offer at a certain company, but the real reason i'm resigning is that i dont like to work that company. since april 1, after 1 month of submitting my letter, my attendance was staggered but i have filed leave forms for this because my wife is on 1 week bed rest and i have to a attend a seminar for my career.

the boss threatened me that he will sue me, that i was still employed at his company and yet i'm already working for another company (because this is what i put in my resignation)

my question is, can he really sue me for this? thank you

he can but you can use the defense that the job didn't actually materialize.
