Hi! I just joined the forum and hope to seek advice on this matter.
Like many Pinoys overseas, I am now looking at investing back in the country. My questions are:
> Is it "advisable" to engage a lawyer upon signing of the Stock Purchase Agreement from a private company in Manila? The company I am considering buying from did not exactly mention anything about this but we can mutually seal the deal without one.
> What is our current practice in'Pinas on this?
> If I do engage a lawyer, to what extent will it protect my investment - which is ultimately the reason why I am considering getting one?
> and defintely not the least.... how much will this cost me, re: legal fees?
