I am working for a company in manila for two years which is stable but the pay is not really good so I decided to look for a better paying job.
I was hired by an indian national who have a business interest here in manila as a manager for his company. I signed a probationary contract with and he has given me a bigger salary than the previous.
I asked him if I could start by july 15 since I need to resign properly to my previous employer. He told me to start by july 5 or else he will give the job to another.
So I decuded to leave my previous emplyer giving alibis why I am living. they decided to let me go eventually.
I started working with my new employer last july 5 then come july 30, he told me that he is just giving me 2 weeks then I pack and leave since he does'nt like my performance. there was no appraisal, no leveling of expectation when I started. just want to ask if this is legal and can I sue the indian national with NLRC. please advise. thanks
