I inquired at our HR department about solo parent leave and I was informed that there is no need for them to provide additional 7-day solo parent leave since its already covered by our annual leave credits. They said they are already compliant with the mandatory 5-day service incentive leaves saying that we are entitled to 15 annual leaves per year. But if I understand it correctly, Solo Parent Leave should be given on top on the regular leaves. If so, can I file a case against the company? Please advise. Thanks.
