tanong ko lang po...

ano po ang legal definition ng absences in the philippines?
If the employee reported for work for halfday and was asked to work can they consider that as absent?

I have this co-worker and he's asking for help. He was tagged as absent on a critical work day eventhough he reported for work halfday. Is this right?
