Please advise if the representation allowance should be taxable or not in this scenario:

An officer (manager) of our company is receiving a monthly fixed travelling allowance and this is not included in his regular salary. Because this is a fixed allowance, the officer does not liquidate the amount. Thank you in advance for the advise. Smile

Taxable based on FBT(fringe Benefit tax)

Travelling allowance, house, car, recreation expenses or any benefits given by the company to non-rank and file employees ARE as a general rule, subject to tax, particularly FBT.
