Arresto Menor

can we hold the resort liable for the loss of our money left inside a hotel room with a damaged sliding door lock and with previous records of theft in the very same room. We weren't informed about the damaged sliding lock. And according to their own security investigation there was no evidence of force entry and that the lock is secured.

The hotel concealed the fact that the locks to their sliding doors are no longer working properly

there are previous police records of missing guest properties

The incident happened within 30 minutes while we're outside of our booked room.

There are no cctv within the premises of the resort

The resort never bothered to report the incident to police

The resort when asked for an incident report, never provided one

One question: Does their Resort Policy reminds you to "Do not leave you things unattended, the Resort Administration will not be responsible for any loss"?

It appears that the Resort Administration do not have adequate security measures nor have a security guard to roam and maintain security of the entire resort, especially the accommodation area (Hotel).

You can file a complaint.
