I got hit when getting an NBI clearance and i found out that way back in 2009 I co-maked on a loan and apparently my friend did not settle the loan. I settled the loan since my i needed the clearance and my friend was no where to be found. The lending company issued an affidavit of desistance indicationg the case number and when i presented the document to NBI they will not honor the document and said they would still need a court order for dismissal. Why?ISNT THE AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE ENOUGH TO PROVE THAT THE CASE WAS WITHDRAWN?
