I just want to ask if our marriage is valid. 12 years ago we signed a marriage certificate but there is no ceremony made at all, because the mayor was on leave at that time. And they said that we will come back when the Mayor will resume to post.Unfortunately, in a few months we parted ways. All i thought the certificate i signed was not registered, and unknowingly she did register it without my knowledge. Is it possible to marry without ceremony and authorized person to officiate it.
