My father has a property acquired under homestead program. The TCT title got lost or missing. Since he is already 82 years old, and me as his oldest son is going to apply for a duplicate copy of the said TCT.

Please advice me the legal procedures and how to start with.

Ur father need to excecute affidavit of lost sa atty., u also need to secure a Certified True Copy of Title sa Register of Deeds. U need to have a Lawyer who will Represent ur dad in Court to file for the Reconstitution of Land Title under Sec.109 Consult and get a Lawyer who will handle ur dads case. Based on exp. It will take about 6mos. Upto a year bago marelease ang Reconstituted Title. This will need an extra patience. Good Luck!
