Is this Case Child Abuse or Slight Physical Injury?

Heres the scenario:
My Cousin is So drunk and
when He saw two kids Below
(both 12yrs Old and not any means
related to him) having A fist fight
he interfered and Help one
kid beat the other kid.
what he did is he hold
the kid's one leg and
put him upside down and
then elt him fall on the ground
after that he punch the kid
(11yrs old) atthe back of
the ear causing swelling and
then kick him on the rib that cause pain that the kid is crying in pain like a pig getting slaughtered. alot of people
saw what happened and
one of them helped the kid but thats after the beating happened..
the parent of the kid filled
a case with DSWD which is
child abuse.. is it
appropriate case to be
filled? is it too much??
i know its my cousins fault
no question about that but
is it more approprite p if
the case filled
is slight physicall injury?
what the base for filling
Child abuse and if convicted for child abuse is reclusion perpetua the appropriate
sentence for him?

Well child abuse is just right since the victim is a minor.

indi ba masyado mabigat ung reclusion perpetua na parusa since binugbug nya lang naman ung minor.. is it posible na mas mababa
ung parusa sa kanya? since
DSWD ung nag hahandle ng kasi pede
pa kaya maayos kesa masampahan cia ng kaso?

binugbog nya yung 12 y/o. bacause of the fact kaya reclusion perpetua ang possible sentence sa kanya. wag mo nila-lang ang pambububog ng isang grown adult sa isang minor.
