Hi!
I'm new here sa forum na to and really really need help about this.
I worked for an BPO company here and decide to resign due to better opportunity. I had signed a contract with them that I need to work for them for 24 months or I will pay the 100k bond. I resigned 3 months before ako mag 2 years sa company and did not undergo any training overseas. Here sa PH, they had shouldered the cost of 2 of my MS Certification exam which I think cost 10-12k each, that's all.
Now they are asking me to pay the bond worth 70k, I am willing to settle this naman but I need some extension, to be exact a 8-12 months extension due to some medical and financial issue that I did not foresee. I just need to recuperate from all the financial burden I am facing right now. I already emailed them my side and waiting for their response.

My question is, what if di nila iconsider ang reason ko?Honestly, I really can not pay them ngayon. Can they sue me for this, kahit na I already informed them of my situation and asked for consideration?

Hope you can help me!thanks in advance!

here are discussions on employee bond. i'd say you should only pay for the MS certification unless they can prove that the company suffered damages by your resignation.

You may also want to argue that the 100k bond be pro-rated such that you will only be required to pay the unserved portion of your bond. I hardly think that is worth 70k.

Thanks for the response attyLLL, but the links are not working..Anyway, I already asked them to give me an extension.. Tama po ba na isipin ko na di po nila ako pwedeng idemanda just in case di ako makabayad ng bond ko sa ngayon?Nakikipag-communicate naman ako sa kanila and I did explain my side.

@fbsensie, thanks,i-wo-work out ko pa tong amount na to kasi I think nga din na masyadong malaki..3 months nalang naman ung kulang ko sa 2 years and maganda naman yung record ko sa company nila in terms ng work.

try these links:

it's either you refuse to pay the bond or you negotiate with them for a scheduled payment.
