Hello.
My wife and I got separated last March 2012 with 2 kids. They are now 8 and 7 years old. My wife does not have work and so full support is asked. But I need also to support myself to survive and plan on my own for the sake of the kids future. May I ask how much should be the [b]acceptable amount of support that would be equal rights to both parties[/b]. Please advise.

Hi,

This is just to clarify:
The kids are with my wife, she doesnt have work and have depression.
My source of income is only from my salary of 40k (gross) and allow of 5k

Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

there is no exact rule. australia follows a formula. i'd recommend 25-30k off the top of my head

How about in my case, given the salary (40K) gross, how much is the right amount of support for the kids?

what should i do? should i file a complaint or sue my husband? for almost five years the highest amount that we receive from him is 12k.We have three kids. ages ng kids ko po ay 19,18 and 14

my recommendation would be a civil case for raising and fixing of support
