Hello Atty,

My wife sent me to jail because I physically hurt her coz I found out that she's cheating on me.(no proof of sexual intercourse though) but after couple of hours in jail we ended up having an agreement that if i'm going to support our 2 kids all the way, she will no longer continue the case. however she was asking too much. my salary is only 20k a month and she's asking for 10k per month. I have bills to pay too and everyday needs. before we separated, it would only cost me almost 5k(Milk, diapers and foods for my 3yr and 2yr old kids) plus my eldest kid is now studying and her tuition fee cost 23k per school year. what advise could you give me? coz i think what she's asking me is too much. can I just simply buy the goods and pay for the tuition fee instead of sending her straight cash? she's also working and earning 16k per month. Please I need your help atty. what should I do?

you already agreed on the 10k, right? that is why you are now out of jail. try to make another bargain.

I was not at my right state of mind when i agreed to the 10k. All i wanted to happen that day was to let me get out of the prison (Coz it's like hell!!!). I don't know how can I bargain? do i need to talk directly to my wife or file something to make her realize that 10k is too much??? thanks in advance

try to talk to her. but in my opinion 10k/month for two kids is a fair share.
